- 250 g cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon cream cheese
- 150 ml of milk or 1 cup of liquid cream

- 20 g flour
- 1/2 teaspoon hot paprika
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of sweet paprika
- Hot sauce (optional)
To start with your homemade cheddar sauce, heat the butter until it melts.
Mix the flour with the milk until they are integrated and add the mixture to the pot with the butter. Go stirring so you don’t have lumps. If you have any lumps, you can run a hand mixer quickly. Add the cream cheese and continue stirring.
Add the cheddar cheese while stirring the mixture. Let it melt over low heat and add the seasonings: salt and paprika. If you like hot cheddar sauce, add a little bit of hot sauce and jalapeños.
