  2. 3 eggs

  4. 200 ml milk
  5. 1 sachet of chemical yeast
  6. 3 large apples (pippin type)
  7. Peach jam to decorate (optional)
  8. 2 tablespoons of flour to coat the apple

You will need to:

  • 1 large bowl
  • 1 medium bowl to mix the flour with the yeast
  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 removable ovenproof pan
  • Vegetable paper (optional)
  • 1 pastry brush or brush (optional)

Preparation

To begin the preparation of this fluffy apple cake, peel two of the apples and cut them into small pieces. Reserve them and leave the other apple to decorate your homemade cake.

Add the eggs in a large bowl and beat them with an electric mixer. Then add the milk and the two peeled and chopped apples. Beat until integrated. If you want, you can also take the opportunity to add raisins or nuts if you like.

When there are no pieces left and the mixture has acquired a liquid consistency, gradually add the sugar, while continuing to beat. Whisk until sugar is fully incorporated into the mixture.

Reserve the mixture and, in a medium bowl, sift the flour and a sachet of chemical yeast. Mix until both products are integrated. Then, add little by little to the previous mixture to form the dough of the cake. Keep beating at a slower speed until everything is well integrated.

Prepare a plate with a couple of tablespoons of flour and another empty plate. Peel the apple that you had reserved, cut it into slices and spread it on the empty plate. Add a splash of lemon on the laminated apple to prevent it from rusting.
